Fail Timeout(ms) Setting

Home Support Server Monitoring Fail Timeout(ms) Setting

In ITmanager.net, the timeout setting is used to detect if a server is “slow”. For example, if you would like to be notified that a server is taking more than 500ms to respond simply list the Fail Timeout(ms) as 500, located under Failure Conditions.

If you only care to be notified if the server is completely down and unreachable, no set value for timeout is needed.
